Christopher Andrews worked on this project while he was with the internationally renowned firm Solomon Architecture and Urban Design in 2000. This project, just adjacent to the main square of Seaside, consists of 6 Mixed Use Townhouses that will include 10 residential units and 10,000 square feet of retail space. By helping form a series of public spaces, these townhouses link existing and future buildings and pedestrian walkways. They continue the street grid that converges on the town square. Over time this area will be lined with 2 and 3 story mixed use buildings and will be the commercial heart of the Seaside community. |
