These are a just a few of the many pieces of furniture we have designed and built. Chair One, inspired by the work of Gerritt Rietveld, uses just two different basic wood components yet is quite comfortable. Continuing with this theme of economy of means, the Sven Chair utilizes stock 2 x lumber. This chair was painted by my grandfather, George Andrews, an "outside" artist. The Murphy Sideboard was built by Master Cabinetmaker William N. Smith, from black walnut salvaged from a Philadelphia coffin makers shop.
