BONAIRE OCEAN VIEW VILLAS
Christopher Andrews designed this Caribbean building with the architect Raul Rosas. It is an inn for scuba divers and includes a residence for the owner. Shown above is the entrance court of the complex and the great room of the owner’s unit. Bonaire is very dry and hot, demanding the strict conservation of water and respect for the power of the sun. All rain and gray water is recycled for use in the gardens. There are photovoltaic panels on the roofs along with passively heated hot water storage tanks.
